ACT OUT

NOTHING changes except a movement is initiated. If you want something to change in your life, you've got to change too.

Your condition may have persisted due to the fact that you are either still doing the same thing over & over, or you are still making use of the same methods, and then expecting a different answer. The result you get using METHOD 1, is still the same result you'll get if you use METHOD 1 again. It is as simple as that - If you want a situation to change, change your method.

We are the ones to effect the change. If you want a change in your health, do things differently; if you want your income level to change, approach your business or work a little differently; if you want your relationship to be much more better, act differently. "Nothing changes in your life except you change." Don't wait for people to change your situation for you - you, my friend are responsible for what happens in your life. Never leave what you can do at the mercy of others. You have what it takes to make the change you desire in your life - Be the change you hope to see manifest in your life.

Thank you

LIFE IS ABOUT PROGRESS

PROGRESS, is the new buzzword. What have you been experiencing lately? Are you out of a job, are you homeless living in the street, are you broke, are you in debt, or are you tired of living and thinking of committing suicide? Whatever condition you are in right now, there is one word, and that word is PROGRESS.

You are making progress my friend. No, no, no …’you don’t understand what I am going through’ you may mutter. One thing I do know is that, you have left a particular phase of being in a job to being jobless! That is progress my friend. Progress happens when you make a shift. You have made a shift from being buoyant to being bankrupt. All these are progressive stages taking you from one level of experience to a higher level of adventure, in which you may not experience if you are to still be in your comfort zone.

The Universe wants you to know something about yourself. For example, Leslie Calvin Brown, the renowned motivational speaker in the world, before he started out speaking to people was fired twice from his disc jockey job. At first, he thought that his mic had been taken from him and that, that was what he was. He never knew that God had something special that he wanted him to know about himself.  There are quite a number of things that you don’t know about yourself, that only the uncomfortable shifts of life will reveal to you.
Leslie Calvin Brown, in his joblessness, ran for election in the Ohio House of Representatives with less than $700 dollars and won. That wasn’t all, he went further afield to training people on how to speak effectively, and pursued his dream to being one of the world’s renowned motivational speaker of all time. All these were phases of growth pushing him from a lower level operation to a higher level of performance.

So, you being jobless; you being homeless; you being broke, and you being in debt, are all phases organized by the Universe to challenge and expand you. You should embrace it, and ask yourself what God wants you to know about yourself, and where He wants to take you to. Challenges of life aren’t meant to break you but, they are there to reveal you to yourself.

Before you start complaining and mourning over your present condition, give thanks to God for an opportunity created to make PROGRESSSSSS into a higher level of adventure. Every time you are faced with a difficult challenge, show your gratitude for the storms, for that is where your growth is.

LESSON No. 3: Life is a series of progress and failure is part of it.
Give thanks in the midst of your challenges.

AFFIRMATION: I give you thanks Oh God for I am growing through this , and becoming better through this experience.

FAILURE Lesson No. 2

Failure Lesson No 2:

APPROACH IT FROM ANOTHER ANGLE.

UPON seeing my grades (Es) in school, I discovered I was not satisfied with my performance, and that my method was not bringing me any way close to my desired outcome. I was so close to having a C.O. (carryover) and could not shift the blame to anyone. The course (Machine Design) was not the problem, my lecturer was not either, neither were my course mates …who then is to be blamed for this poor outputs.

However, considering the many factors that could have gone wrong and knowing that no one was to be held responsible for my output, I decided to SWITCH; approaching the above Lecturer’s course from a different angle. I decided to act regardless of what I seem not to have. The problem with us is not a lack of resources but lack of being resourceful with what we have to achieve our many goals.

I started making use of the school library: a resource that was available but for reasons…I did not explore the goldmine in preparing myself for the course. It was true that I was not having much of a resource at my disposal but, I was surrounded by abundant resources. Another thing, which I did, was to borrow the course’s textbook from my course mate, which was found to be more simplified and somewhat related to what the lecturer used. I got interested in classes and set a goal for that what I would love to have in that course.

All these were resources available, however, for one reason or the other I did not make use of the abundant resources at hand. Sometimes, it is not what we don’t have that limits us but our refusal to use what we have available NOW. YES, I FAILED; I HAD E grade – I was not going to sit down and mourn over my past; I chose to act and learn from my mistakes. I learned what works and what doesn’t in preparing for A grade… and when the next result was released, my grade skyrocketed to B-grade after have two Es in his courses.

Whatever you have encountered in the past is not enough to stop you from trying ONE MORE. There things you will learn along the way to your desired end, do not give up. Thomas Alva Edison attempted 999 times just to get a breakthrough in his field and never gave in to quitting; and he asserted,"I have not failed. I've just found 10000 ways that won't work." The world is waiting to celebrate you and you my friend must not give in to QUITTING…

Lesson 2 is: Take every failures as teaching moments.

FAILURE Lesson No. 1

FAILURE IS AN ILLUSION

Anything is possible if you can believe and try. There is NO failure anywhere. Failure is an illusion we make up in our minds that reflects in our realities, making it look like a permanent condition.

What is failure – it is a mistake; and what is a mistake? that which can be corrected. The beauty behind living is that we are going to Learn, Improve, Fall, & Expand…which is LIFE. So, if you want to get unstuck from the limiting beliefs that are holding you from pursuing your dreams, you will have to see failures as mistakes which can be corrected and not the other way round.

There are times you will miss getting things right at first, don’t hate yourself for it; you can still improve. It may take days, weeks, months, even years to get your desired results. Always see your setbacks as an opportunity to learn something new. You will learn what works and what doesn't. Whether you want to become a psychologist, entrepreneur, fashion designer, model, a clergy, a super athlete, a professional speaker…whatever you choose to become, don’t let your small failures stop you from being the best that you can be. Go over every failure because it can be corrected, and see them as stepping-stones to your destination.

“Failure is an illusion; success is the only option”

Lesson 1 is : Mistakes can be be corrected.
